I love to use my brush to capture form and emotion. Intrigued by the human figure and portrait, I like to create paintings that are raw, authentic and expressionistic.

I’m fascinated by color, and attempt in my portraits to capture the person’s essence and not necessarily the exact likeness. I choose colors instinctually. I end up painting those who inspire me: musicians, creative minds, human rights activists, my Dad, and overall, architects of change.

When I paint or draw, I feel a sense of awe. It is this consciousness that guides my brush and creates organically, without a formula or plan.
